Welcome to my Studio

With a Master of Fine Arts and a background spanning pottery, filmmaking, photography, and painting, my creative practice has always lived between disciplines. After three years working as a local potter, I found myself wanting to bring that same sense of hand, ritual, and artistry into something more ephemeral: the moment created by lighting a fabulous candle.

Every MFA piece begins as a drawing in my Vancouver studio. The illustrations wrapped around the packaging come directly from my own body of artwork. The marks made by hand get translated from paper to wax. Each candle is both a scent experience and a small art object. Something special that decorates your home and the moments you share in it.

This first collection is entirely my own, from the drawings to each pour. But MFA is designed to grow through collaboration, inviting other local artists to create limited editions — potters, illustrators, and makers who will expand the meaning of what a candle can be.

Crafted with 100% pure soy wax locally sourced fragrances, every candle is made with care and transparency. No unnecessary ingredients. No over-polish. Just honest materials and the vision of an artist.
